AUREM ATELIER X STREETWEAR.NET.AU
This started on Australian pavement. AUREM ATELIER was created by Adrian Micheli — an Australian designer who got tired of paying import prices for tees that went soft, thin and shapeless after three washes. So he stopped waiting for the labels overseas to get it right and built the thing himself: a local label with the fabric weight of a luxury house and the attitude of a late-night train line.
The name carries its own Latin and French heritage — aurum, gold, and atelier, the workshop. Gold for the standard, workshop for the graft. Under STREETWEAR.NET.AU it became something plainer and prouder: an Australian address, stamped on the label, no apologies. It's also where the gold studio meets heavyweight streetwear — every drop is cut to the same standard the studio runs on, and the gold studio mark is our signature on the run.
Australian Roots
Designed in Australia — and it shows in the cut. Heat, glare, salt air and a country that dresses down on purpose: garments here get worn, not curated. That's why the line leans heavy and honest instead of precious. Nothing in the range needs babying, and nothing in it is trying to be from somewhere else. The accent stays in the clothes.
Global Soul
The roots are local, the ear is worldwide. The graphics pull from the same places the music does — Tokyo back-alley print culture, London sound-system typography, New York block-party swagger, Melbourne laneway grit — and get run through an Australian filter until they sit right. The Standard of Craft
Every garment reflects the precision of a master craft. Specs are not decoration here — they're the whole argument:
- 220GSM (6.5oz/yd²) premium heavyweight cotton jersey on the core line. That's roughly a third heavier than a standard retail tee, which is exactly why it drapes instead of clings and keeps its shape wash after wash.
- A structured, architectural silhouette. The heavy weight lets the fabric stand on its own — squared shoulders, a clean straight fall through the body, no sag at the hem.
- Ribbed crew neck and shoulder-to-shoulder construction, so the collar doesn't roll out and the seams stay flat under a jacket.
- A separate lighter build for the Limited Edition: a numbered run of 200 in 142GSM (4.2oz/yd²) fine combed cotton jersey — a closer, softer drape and a finer surface that holds sharper print detail than heavyweight ever can.
- Charcoal heather runs on a heather-blend jersey at the same 220GSM weight, which is what gives that colourway its flecked depth instead of a flat grey.
- Every piece is pressed to order — nothing sits in a warehouse fading on a shelf, and colour goes down fresh on fabric that hasn't been sitting folded for a year.
Global Presence
Drawn up in Australia, then pressed and dispatched through our specialised US production facilities — which is how a small Australian label ships worldwide on a A$14.99 flat rate tracked without gouging anyone at checkout.
